Citron Rouge also known as Blood Lime is one of the most unique new generation of native species. This beautiful native fruit and tree its a cross-hybrid between Red Finger Lime and Ellendale Mandarin. Originally created by the australian government and CSIRO as a potential future crop it hasn't yet been discovered much. This "new" native its an absolut gem to have in your garden. Can be grown easily in any climate, can be grow in either pot or planted, has really high yields per tree and the fruit is super tasty. These red limes have segments like citrus species instead of pearls like Finger Limes. The fruit its tart and sweet at the same time. The fruit its ready when the skin goes to a bright "blood" like red and can be eaten whole.
